This is a close-up of an animal that is distinctly Australian: A Wombat! It looks to me like a small bear mixed with a large rat. Sounds cute, huh!










This is a picture of an animal that they find "really cute!" It's a possum (not opossum)! This was just outside their front door, and it scared me because it just sat there at first - it didn't run away like I am used to! You can see that it looks a little bit different from ours.
